Good soups however if you have a favorite you may have to be patient they sellout or don't make some of their options in a regular basis Another watch-out for is some bathes are saltier than others so I recommend Saratoga before buying
In Fairfield, we waited in line to order, the people ahead of us had a salad made choosing from various toppings offered. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with a GF wrap, it was very good but quite spicy, also ordered a bacon and egg sandwich. A table came open while we were paying, so we were able to eat inside.while eating, decided to get a coffee, but the line was very long so we ordered online. It was a very casual atmosphere. There were wet-wipes on the tables, presumably so that customers can clean their own table. We enjoyed, will be back.
I only went for soup and let me tell you it was delicious -- some sort of coconut creamy curry. It was served the very fresh/soft focaccia. (you get a choice of that or crackers). My mindless self left my credit card here and days later I figured I'd call on the off chance that is where I lost it. Yep, they were holding it locked up for me. What honesty! Thanks Chef's Table!
Chef's Table has the best iced coffee in Connecticut. Their caramel flavoring is absolutely delicious with any milk. Although it's expensive, their chicken bacon ranch wrap is my go to sandwich when I'm in Fairfield. Their bacon egg and cheese is also great but you can unfortunately only order it before a certain time. Not only are their salads fresh, but they have a wide variety of toppings to choose from to create your own salad. The open garage door entrance is just as inviting as the employees and the eccentric decor makes adds to the welcoming environment.
Love that they post the ingredients right up front for you to see. Love that they offered to give me a taste. (Didn't need one - they are all great). Love the big picture of Jerry when you walk in. Soups are always delicious. Got all three to bring home. And one to enjoy while there. Had the Tuna sandwich once before. That too - was great. Don't miss this place. Great food. Great staff. Great vibe.
